John Deere’s Tractor and Engine Museum

The first place you have to check out this summer is John Deere’s new Tractor and Engine Museum, located in Waterloo, Iowa.  This Saturday, June 13, the Tractor and Engine Museum will host a Grand Opening!  Check out some of the awesome exhibits like the evolution of John Deere and the manufacturing process.  Along with cool exhibits and displays, you can see some demonstrations and even take a guided tour!

John Deere Historic Site

See the home of John Deere!  Check out the site where he put together his first steel plow.  Listen in an as he discusses how he came to start the John Deere Company.  Visit a working blacksmith shop.  Located in Dixon, Illinois, the John Deere Historic Site has something for the whole family.  AND admission is absolutely free for children under the age of 11!

John Deere World Headquarters

John Deere’s World Headquarters is not your typical corporate building!  Featuring cool exhibits such as a 3D Historical Mural and a display floor packed with vintage and new John Deere equipment, the John Deere World Headquarters is 1,400 Acres of pure awesome!  Sit behind the wheel of a John Deere Combine, Forestry equipment and more!  Located right in Moline, Illinois, the John Deere Headquarters is a stop you won’t soon forget!  Best of all, admission is absolutely FREE!

John Deere Factory Tours

John Deere’s Factory Tours will take you behind the scenes of one of the most modern and efficient factories in the world!  In this tour, you will be taken through each stage of the manufacturing process to see how some of your favorite John Deere machines are made.  Located conveniently in Moline, Illinois, the John Deere factory is certainly a hit with history buffs and John Deere lovers alike.
